Hey Guys,

I just purchased a limited edition Black Trinity from Japan. I understand they were designed for use in Japan and to run on 100v. In the USA, we run under 110v. I do not want to risk any damage to the keyboard. Some people claim there is a self adjust switch that automatically will adjust the power voltage on the power supply. Some state that I need a converter. I am just so confused and unsure what to do?

I have another US trinity that is 110. Would I be ok switching the power supplies or could that also hurt the internals of the keyboard? I just want this keyboard to run perfect so I am unsure what to do. Please help.

Thank you.

The Trinity is on a list of keyboards having universal switched mode power supplies that operate over a wide range of mains supply voltages.

It'll be fine for use in Japan, US, UK...

Yes. The Trinity should be OK when used on mains supplies ranging from ~90V a.c. up to 240V. No need to do anything under the hood.
