For whatever reason, I don't recall Korg splashing new product news over the yrs at Messe.
The always present at January NAMM and pre announce new products. I think there product offerings have grown quite a bit , thus they make there own independent announcements. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

I think the days of tradeshows as the platform for new product announcements from the big three are over.
I haven't even seen Roland's name among the exhibitors at Frankfurt.
Behringer does not even want to attend tradeshows any longer.
It is not exactly cheap to attend a tradeshow with a product line and you have to wonder if it is worth the cost.
Furthermore, Frankfurt now has a rival in the Superbooth event, and both KORG and Roland will announce a couple of new products there this year.
Other than that the state of affairs in the music industry is very different from what it used to be... |
