Hi, folks... still doing some more research to see if the ES will do what I need it to do. I'm thinking about getting a Squarp Pyramid sequencer, and I want to use it as the control station for a lot of different things, such as a drum machine, my hardware synths, and hopefully, a sampler.

I'm not sure I understand how the ES uses Midi. I've read that each pad is triggered by its own midi channel, but what I'd like to do is be able to trigger various pads from my sequencer in different combinations, but have them all be on one channel, as that, to me, seems a lot easier than configuring my sequencer to send out 16 channel messages.

Looking over the manual, I haven't seen any section on how to trigger the Electribe with an external sequencer. Does anyone have any resources that they could point me to to show me how I'd do this? Thanks in advance.
