Hello,
I want to connect a querty-keyboard to my Kronos. I have bought a bluetooth-stick and plugged it into one use-port of the kronos. I then tried to connect my bluetooth keyboard (which I also use for my iPad). But how does the bluetooth pairing work? Normally I have to enter a code on the devices.
Greets

Welcome to the forum.
A bit more info would be handy. Make and model of querty keyboard, and of the bluetooth dongle? Did the keyboard not come with a BT dongle? Can the two pair up on a PC?

The keyboard is a Rapoo E6300 and the bluetooth dongle is a CSL - Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter. Pairing works on my pc. The pc tells me to enter a code number which I have to repeat on the keyboard as well.
I guess the Kronos should promt me for such a code, too, I guess. |

The Kronos OS is based around a cut down Linux kernel and this imposes limitations on the USB devices it will work with. Operation is restricted to external memory devices, class compliant MIDI devices and it will also work with wired USB qwerty keyboards. For a wireless keyboard to work in this fashion would require the wireless USB receiver to appear to the Kronos as a standard wired keyboard, so your combination will not work. The Kronos offers no mouse support to the user.

I have a Logitech K400 keyboard which came with its own Bluetooth adapter, so I suppose that it's automatically paired. Anyway, I just plug the adapter into the Kronos and it works like a charm. Only problem is that Korg haven't created a proper scancode table for the Kronos so 12 of the keys don't work properly. |
