|
|
Hi everyone, i'm new to the forum and own Microkorg for just a few days, so excuse me if my question is silly.
But anyway - i noticed that when you switch preset buttons, the value of MOD wheel remains the same through all programs. I mean, if it centered, all the programs that use it, will have "centered" value, and will sound accordingly.
But sometimes its desirable to "load" the value of MOD wheel with all other program settings. So that it will change only after you touch the MOD wheel, not at the very start.
Is there some option to "initialize" MOD wheel value to some reserved point, when the program loads? Could not find anything related in Manual.
Sorry for my English, i hope you understand what i'm saying
thanks |

Hi,
As far as I know there is no way to load the value of the Mod wheel.
I don't have the original mK, but on the mKXL the behavior is different from what you describe. At loading of a preset, the mod wheel internal parameter is initialized to zero, as if no modwheel is applied, even if the wheel is physically halfway. This seems a bit a better fit for what you are looking after. The possible drawback is that, at the moment you touch then the wheel, the parameter jumps immediately to halfway which is in some cases very ennoying. I work around it by rolling back the wheel back before touching a key at the moment I change preset.
