Hello everyone,

I have been visiting this forum for a while to get some user feedback on the Kross and other machines. The information I got here was so much more useful than other reviews on the web. I needed a lightweight keyboard, mostly to practice songs at home and to record and test ideas. So, in the end it was the functionality / price ratio that brought me to the Kross instead of e.g. Roland FA06 or Yamaha MOXF6.

Now I can leave my heavy Yamaha s750 in the band room and have nice keys at home, also as midi i/o device for the DAW.

Looking forward to discuss music, and other things, with you.

Cheers

Welcome!

I think you'll find a lot of Kross owners will grab theirs and go, while having the big fancy tools at home. KORG should really update the Kross, it's so close to the sweet spot on so many things.

The Yamaha has a lot of really good natural sounds. That is what I need when playing in the band. Until recently, I had to carry that 11 kg back and forth. Now I can use the Kross to practice at home and put it aside any time. Together with a laptop and a small audio interface I have a complete studio at home.

When I know the Kross better I might also use it with the band. First I have to navigate through the menus and play with sounds and effects. Some things are easy and some are a bit odd. Did you know that there are 4 different ways to select a tone (2 wheels, up/down under the screen, and the cursor buttons)!?

Anyway, I like it!

See you somewhere in the forum.

Nice to meet you, febsun375. However, click here is not enough to convince me.
Oh, and say hello to febsun374 and febsun376. Tell them I am really sorry for not clicking on their links either.

Cheers
