New odd problem. My damper is stuck on sustain. When I power up with pedal plugged in I get nothing, no response. If I unplug and replug it is stuck on sustain. Wondering if my pedal has gone bad, but it's less than a year old. Don't want to replace it without hearing other ideas.

Check in Global Settings and reset the switch several times to no affect. Ideas?

The damper pedal. I've got an On Stage brand pedal. Has worked beautifully until now. Just back from a gig and it's now behaving this way

Buy the Korg pedal and save yourself some frustration.

Had problems less than a year in on the cheap brand of sustain pedals. Both of them. Either not triggering full sustain or not working at all and then coming in with sustain only when it wants.
It responded to cleaning a few times but ultimately a big fail in fustration.
I whipped out the old yamaha switch/sustain pedal and was amazed at all the sustain i was missing from the new cheap pedals right out of the box.

I knew there was a reason i was not liking the sustain response i was getting out of berlin grand and almost all of my pianos right from day one with kronos. I got used to it that way and now have to readjust to what seems like excess sustain with pedals that work right.

Some accesories just are not worthy to plug into Kronos, even if they come free of charge. Laughing

The OnStage pedal has a polarity switch... it may have been switched accidentally to the opposite polarity. You can also reverse damper polarity in Global->Controllers

Hi Folks,

This is the nearest topic I can see so far for my question.

Probably an odd request, but is there any way I can get the 'NORD' triple pedal to work with Kronos? So far just the sustain works.

Could it be down to putting a link cable with different wiring between the pedal & Kronos?

Regards

Jeff
