Hi folks,

Doing some tests on my Pa3xLe I noticed that the "dynamics" setting on Global -> MIC are not behaving like a microphone compressor. It`s only the internal digital gain on ADC chain that can be adjusted. The knows "Thres - Ratio - Gate" are not compression settings from my point of view. Only the "Gate" know is working properly as "noise gate" the other two "Thres - Ratio" are like garbage doing nothing. Because of the lack of a digital compression I started to build on the mic input a compressor circuit adding also the anti aliasing ADC filter to remove "out of band" voice components.

Can somebody check if Pa3xLe runs a true DSP compressor or "Thres - Ratio" are only ADC input gain setting because is very hard and difficult to reach compressed voice quality and more on "harmonies".
