Hi Chrispap95 ,
You say pitch controller. Do you want to change the pitch of some audio ?
- there is a pitch shift program in the modulation group. Mod 4&5 IIRC. Two flavors of pitch shift in semitones.
Or did you want midi pitch bend control messages for controlling external gear.
What did you want to change the pitch of? |

Ah ok. Not sure if you can .This is all from memeory but I don't think it transmits pitchbend info. Just midi CCs -which don't include pitchbend msg - and note on/off .
Will have to get back to you to confirm.
...There is software options that convert types of MIDI info ,but I don't use software really (so out of my sphere of knowledge). Maybe somone else here can chime in. There may also be threads here to search for about this software as it was frustrating the Kaoscillator pro would not send note info via the xy pad ,so peeps used it for this. |

Yes as suspected - the KP3 doesn't transmit midi pitch bend messages out the box. You will need software to translate.
There may be long winded work arounds were you programs your Nord to receive CCs that change its oscillators pitch but getting another controller seems more logical/easier. Pitchbends are generally sprung so a KP3 action wouldn't be well suited. |
