FYI - About 4 weeks ago my new Kronos X auto-rebooted without warning. I had my mobile phone lying on top of it, a call came in and the K rebooted. I've kept the mobile away from it and has not happened again.

I guess the Kronos is pretty sensitive to electromagnitic signals...

I will need to try this because I always have my iphone with me. I never had any issues with my other keys, having my iPhone on the top all the time.

Regards

Dan

i don't recall any other keyboard having an atom based processor, SSD, etc. So its likely a component in the Kronos thats picking up/reacting to your iPhone.

I think that is a real thing. Mine freaked out one time before a gig. I had my Samsung S3 resting above the row of tone knobs. At the time, i thought it was a power issue.

😳 This just happened to me 2 hrs before my gig is to start. The only difference is that I can think of is that my Mac is right in front of the korg on a stand and my iPhone was resting on an attached speaker. Time to start using a surge protector I guess
