Hi -- I've recorded some songs that I want to burn onto CD, but I can't seem to get anything to "insert" into the CD write box. Could someone please step me through how this is done?

must be a new feature.

Kronos has a " CD write box " ? Where is that ?

The process has been to sample your SONG files into a WAV.

Then copy that WAV to a USB stick. Then to your PC desktop. Then to iTunes or whatever you are doing for a CD burn.

Sharp has an excellent YT on most of the steps;

From the op.guide:

From p. 195 in the op.guide:
Creating audio CDs
In conjunction with an external USB CD‐R/RW drive, you can use the KRONOS to create audio CDs of your music. To do this, you’ll:
• Bounce the completed Songs to WAVE files
• Arrange the WAVE files in a track list, in the order that you’d like them to appear on the CD
• Burn the track list to a CD

This has been a built in function since at least the Triton and perhaps the Trinity. Although I prefer working with the computer, it's a pretty neat integrated function to have. I don't know why it's not working for the OP. I'm assuming a CD writer is attached and an empty CDRW of the correct type is in it?

Requires a USB CD-R/RW drive (not included)

Thats actually pretty cool. The software is in place(in the Kronos) but a USB CD drive has to be acquired.

I am use to iTunes for my Song Lists to CD. Have multiple Song Lists

Hi - thanks for the replies. I think the step I need guidance on is bouncing the song files to WAVE files.

Parameter guide Page 823 excerpt.

"Here you can use a USB CD-R/RW drive to create an audio CD.
To create an audio CD, you can use WAVE files created by bouncing to disk in the KRONOS’s sequencer. Use the Insert button and Cut button to arrange the files in the audio CD track list, and use the “Write to CD” page menu command to write them as an audio CD.
Audio CDs can be created from either 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz WAVE files. 48kHz files will be automatically converted to 44.1kHz during the CD writing process.
Note: When the name of a WAVE file is highlighted, you can play that file by pressing the Play button or the SAMPLING START/STOP switch. This is a convenient way to audition the sound."
~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~
So the "Make audio CD" feature is in Disk mode.
All sequencer tracks needed on the CD will need to be audio wave files to write to an Audio CD via a proper external CD writer.
Sequencer mode has a "Bounce to Disk" command but i am not sure if that automatically renders the midi tracks to audio/wavefiles also for CD writing.. Be sure to find what is going on with any midi tracks when bouncing to disk.
Once the Audio files are Bounced to disk, they will be available to insert in the "CD track list", track staging area(not writing to CD at that stage). Staging area for tracks in any order you need them to be written.
Once you have the "CD track list" insert and cutting done via the "insert" and "cut" buttons at lower center screen of "write audio CD" page of disk mode, you can then go to the upper right side of the screen for the drop down menu("page menu commands") and find "write to CD" command which writes it to CD. Finalize is also another important step. Before finalize, things can be added to the CD. After finalize, the CD making is closed unless you erase or overwrite CD where that is possible.
This was tricky for me to get down well. In sequencer mode, press "audio in / sampling" There should be a pull down menu for bouncing all tracks to disk.
I could be wrong, but this seems a lot easier on a computer.
Not really since all the preliminary work is the same. Perhaps it sounds complicated because you've never done it but I think it's significantly fewer steps than moving everything to the computer first (although there are of course many other benefits when doing so).
