I have layered brass sounds over my strings and piano sounds and I have done it succesfully in combi mode,... but I want the brass to start off low volume and then raise as time passes on the chord im playing, so a swelling effect. How can I do this just to the brass and not the other sounds...
Thank You
Ruben

Copy the brass sound to another program, than change the filter and/or amp attack value(s), and use the new program in your combi.

Can you walk me through the proccess of copying .... i would like to merge A017 "super analog pad" to B091 "mono brass" ... so the brass sounds will volume swell like the super analog pad does.
Thank you for your help!

I'm afraid I don't have a working M50 anymore.

However, you can make a combi
- Copy first program to timbre 1 of a combi
- Copy second program to another program location (because you want to change it and don't want to affect other combis probably)
- Copy second program (on the new location) to timbre 2 of the combi
- I don't know about effects merging anymore (not having used M50 for a long time)
- Change the amp or filter settings of the second (new locatin) program similar to the first patch
