Pa4x NOT responding to CC messages from nanoPAD2

I know Pete owned a nanoPAD2, so he'll look into this when he gets a chance. The midi USB Host connection works fine as when I press the trigger pads I can hear the notes but when I assign the pads to CC messages I'm not able to get the Pa4x to respond to any of the commands. The same CC# messages work well if I use a DAW.

I think I tried ALL Global midi preset combinations and still no luck. Has anyone been able to do this successfully?
