I've connected a nonoPAD2 to the Pa4x. There's no need for drivers and special adapters so it should be instantly recognized and it is indeed.
Per manual, you can assign the pads to various Control messages and Program changes to trigger some parameters in real time.
Note and program change "assign type" work fine but not Control Messages. The keyboard accepts them if I use a DAW though, so I'm thinking maybe it's not the keyboard. Do you guys use the CTRL assign type without any problems? _________________ Sam

I really liked the nanoPad2/Micro series at first. I still use them for little things here and there but for the biggest disappointment was that none of these controllers can handle a string of MSB/LSB/PC . So in order to trigger a feature that requires these type of messages, you'd have to assign each to a separate pad....and then be able to remember which 3 or 4 pads trigger what and then press all those pads in the proper order. If you got every thing right, hopefully that parameter will change!!!
This is soooooooooo odd! _________________ Sam
