I'm not a big fan of advertising brands. On my original Kronos I decided to remove the huge lettering from the front of the keyboard. Acetone took this off very easily.

I just got a new Kronos and this doesn't work. The process is obviously different. Has anyone removed theirs, does anyone care? Wink

It's partly advertising, also like things to look clean and simple. I probably won't ever sell them, but I'm not that concerned about that. I guess it's possible that would turn someone off.

The one time I played a Casio on stage (I was young and poor) I covered it up with tape. You'll see this often also on stage with video recording and copyright, advertising and such.

I've never tried to remove lettering, simply cover it up with dark tape.

I am a picky buyer of any used gear. Esp if its expensive. So a permanent alteration would make me pause. Not debating . Since you are a perm owner what you do with gear is perfectly ok.

as suggested, you can use the black duct tape (usually used in air conditioning)
I have used that to cover my home projector screen top mechanism , as white bothers me.

or you can grab some spray paint can and masking tape to do over it.
that is what i used to do with some of my guitars.

they almost got it right. Instead of promoting an electronics co, its us, the musician that needs the promotion.

Thus the light up letters should reflect our name or it should be user customized

What was Korg thinking ? Wink

No duct/gaff tape or paint. The cool thing about removing the old ones lettering is that it looks factory.
