|
|
I have a ksc file with a lot of user samples that I have created. I need to get a couple of those samples/multisamples and send to another person, but I don't want to send the whole file. How do I create a self contained set of files which contains only the programs/multisamples/samples I want to share? I'm aware ksc is just a list/collection. _________________ Korg Kronos 88 (288gb+3gb), Korg Kronos X 61, Alesis Fusion 6HD (60gb+384mb), Hammond XK1c, Moog Slim Phatty, Behringer Model D, Access Virus B, Oberheim Matrix 1000, Novation X-Station 61, Korg Trinity Pro (with Solo-Tri), Compac Univox II, Casio MT600 and PT82. |

empty all loaded samples.
1:load programs that you need to export into a empty bank.
2: go to each program and load missing samples, making sure you are not loading entire bank
3:save the ksc file creating a new id.
4: Remap the references in your programs to this ksc.
5: save the pcg file for the bank.
6: send the ksc, multisamples folder and pcg file together. _________________ DX7-MOD-7 Patches | Korg Related Content

Seems it would be good to ask the recipient what banks and KSC set up would work best on their rig, so that the recipient isn't stuck with having to redo the bank and KSC setup to fit the new files into their own file to bank set up.
Probably not a big deal, but both parties being on the same page always helps with minimizing confusion. |
