Hi,
I hope someone out there can help.
I am trying to connect a Kronos 2-61 to a Windows 8.1 Pro computer, Windows tells me that the USB device has malfunctioned and no Windows USB driver can be installed.
I have downloaded the Korg USB-MIDI driver and have installed it, however this also doesn't see the keyboard.
I have tried selecting the USB-MIDI driver to 'Update Driver' to fix the Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) and also the Troubleshooting option but Windows simply says the device is not working properly.
Is there a fix anyone knows of, or is my Kronos actually faulty?
Everything else about it works just fine and I can use it via my MOTU MIDI interface with no problems, but the editor doesn't seem to like MIDI and I imagine would work more smoothly over USB so would love to get this working.
Thanks for any help |

What type of USB cable are you using?
Should be like this:USB 2.0 Cable - A-Male to B-Male (or it can be 3.0 as they are backwards compatible)
Not A male to A male. |
