Hi. Since upgrading to 2.01 I keep getting notes hanging on. Sometimes a lot of notes at the end of a song and other times a few notes during a song. This happened 3 times last night and I had to press shift-start/stop to cancel them. On one occasion the keyboard froze and needed re-booting very embarrassing on stage. Do you think I should re-install the O.S. and if so can I do so without re-installing the musical resources. Any thoughts please?
Thanks. Rob

Hi Rob, I'm not sure if it is related to your particular problem but, I wanted to let you know that I also experienced hanging notes (for the very first time) recently. I was, from memory, using the Kaoss effects at the time though, so assumed that the midi note off/end command hadn't been sent after manipulating the style.

I'll definitely watch out for future occurrences though, just in case it's a wider issue/problem with the OS.

Best wishes,
Jon

Hi Rob

Sorry for stating the obvious, but have you disconnected all pedals?
I had a pedal which was intermittently causing problems.

Cheers

Pete Very Happy

i've had the same, after upgrading to 2.0 and 2.1, a simple calibration of the damper controller in global mode fixed it.

Thanks. All good suggestions. I,ll calibrate the damper control and hope that sorts it. Just hope it isn,t a problem with th OS as jonyblues said.
