You have made a big jump, going from pa1x into pa4x.
Give us some your personal opinions, what you really like in pa4x. I suppose there are no functions that does not suit your needs.

Pa1X vs Pa4X is the definition of difference between night and day so what contemplation or hesitation can be
valid for such a leap if you can afford it ?

Βασίλη , save your money since as a Greek you have to upgrade to Platinum 800Mb SET , that is the flagship
setup that your Pa4X V2 deserves for your genre ! Wink http://pastyles.x10.mx/Greek.html

Indeed a big step,
The truth is that loading my pa 1 set to pa4 has been easier than what i expected. One basic problem or bug, is the sts sounds that are either swaping either deleted or initialing to acoustic piano. An other issue is that all my "perfomances" are much louder than the factorys.
Today I managed to crash it. Loaded a pa2x style set with samples and
during a stye change it crashed.
Reboot and never hapened again.

Many sleepless nights-weeks.....
The interface korg uses is infact almost the same so no problem.
I have a question, I cant save the "quarter tone " to assignable switch 3. and having issues with the expretion pedal, I cant calibrate it. I use a
Boss fv 300.

As first , Press Sw3 while pressing SHIFT , Browse and assign Sw3 to mTuning and then write KBD Set properties.

Feel happy that you already have the basics of your Pa1X old SET to begin with !
But consider of the following :
- STS / Performances don't exist anymore in Pa4X , they are almost incompatible with older Pa series that's why
you can't load the whole folder "Performance"
An older Performance/STS file has many code line references of functions that do not exist anymore or have been
migrated in Global interface with different properties , and the fact that you can individually load them is based on a
"brief" translating function of Pa4X OS , so never count on this !
That's why expression pedal must be re-assigned to work properly !
- All ex-STS , KBD sets must be edited with valid parameters , be re-written and refresh all Styles that use them , if still valid.
- Pa1X styles are missing of many newer parameters and all must be edited with newer features (Guitar mode 2/Drum Edit/
new FX and insert FX/KBD Sets) , replace old with newer V2 factory resources and re-write them !
- Pa4X do not deserve outdated styles from older than Pa3X models !
- Pa4X do not deserve junk triton KBs samples of 1995 age (concerning ethnic users) !
Otherwise your Pa4X will be heard worse than your 15 years old Pa1X Pro , you will waste your new investment and the sonic
difference between yours and factory resources will be like night and day !

Hope this helps

Antony thanks for your reply,
As for the expresion pedal, I calibrate it but it doesnt sound smooth, its either 127 either 10. theres nothing between...
As for the shortcuts with shift, I know almost all of them..
My issue is that I cant save the setting so when I turn on the key to be present.
I currently loaded my old set (until I create my new) because I had to play instantly, unfortunately due to failure of hdd recognition of pa1xpro.

- Check your pedal since function works smoothly in Pa4X with my own !
- Sw1 function is an individual STS (now KBD Set) property and not a global that can saved there so you must write
this function in every KBD library sound and IMO it's absolutely right !
There is a tricky way that you can make it global , while in this edited KBD Set , write in "my Settings" tab that is loaded
at start up and lock function in Global menu !
- "failure of hdd recognition" happened in your Pa1X ? does it have USB slot option ?

No Antony, pa1xpro hasn't a usb slot. Only cd and 3 1/2" drive .
