Hi Guys

I have a Korg Krome 73 key and I have it for a year now. I dont play with it because the pianos just cuts off when i sustain it with the pedal.

Could it be the pedal? could it be a setting? Please guys i felt like i wasted my money.

I think you have the reverse damper polarity.
So maybe you have the piano damper "ON" by default and cut the sustain when you press the pedal. Right?

Try to change the damper polarity:
press [GLOBAL]>[PAGE]>P2 Controllers>Damper Polarity. Change (-) Korg standard to (+) or vice versa then try to play again.
Write the GLOBAL settings before exit.

This behaviour might occur with the sustain pedal (partly) plugged into the Assignable Pedal jack, which is where an expression pedal should be connected. The sustain pedal should be plugged into the "Damper" jack socket.

i've had the same problem w/ our year-old 88, using a new korg pedal into the damper input and with the correct polarity, so it's def a thing
