|
|
I'm trying to create new patches of sampled voices from an old Casio. I'm able to make the patch with loop points set but I have no clue how to include the original voice's decay. Do I need to sample just the decay and assign it to a note-off message, and if so does anyone know how to do that, or is there a way to create the patch from a sample that loops in the middle then plays through with the original decay at the subsequent note-off message? |

what sound are you chasing?
if you are doing a sample.
sample in the middle of the original sound
then do the rest of it in the m3 settings...
in the adsr... and effects.
do you have the radias option?
radias is cool for older classic sounds re creation. _________________ my site klimaco.net

The Casio voices have decay that is unique to the keyboard. The best description is a step-decay (almost a delay/reverb combination, but the Casio has no effects) and the Casio has no release control. I don't think it can't be replicated in the M3's ADSR which is why I want to know if there is a way to sample the original decay and either assign it to note-off or have the sampled voice include the sampled decay after looping. |
