Try as I might, I can't get the transport controls in Ableton 9 to play when I press play on my E2. It is sending MIDI notes, but I cannot figure out how to get the transport to work. I have MIDI out from the E2 plugged into a Focusrite interface which is USB'd into my macbook. I'm not at home right now so I can't check my settings, but does anyone know what might be the problem? I'll update this with my MIDI settings in a few hours. Thanks everyone! |

All my midi filter settings on the E2 are set to off.
Is the E2 supposed to show up as a control surface in Live? Because it isn't
I also have a Launchpad Pro and an MPD232 hooked up as control surfaces. All their settings (track, sync, and remote) are set to "on" in Ableton's preferences. My Focusrite Scarlett also has all its settings "on". |
