Can I mix and match styles with let say a drum style from pop style and add a bass style from funk style and make it a new custom style on the pa4x? |

Yes, you can do that. I believe that there are a few caveats/limitations though relating to the size of the elements (i.e. how many bars) that you are copying from and to.
A good starting point is to look at one of Sam's excellent instructional videos (in the sticky posts towards the top of the forum).
