If it's .set file containing (user) sounds and styles and it's not protected,
Yes you can load them. Always make a backup before you load anything.
And personally, I would never load the Global file and Songbook.
You can also use the file as a Direct set to see/listen what's in it. _________________ Musical grtz, Frans

If Pa900 backup is in ThisSET.SET format , yes you can load partially the majority of resources but not the whole set in one shot !
1) If SET is based on Pa900 factory resources and not user sounds/pads then assign it as Direct and explore it.
2) If SET contains custom sounds / pads with or without samples then the recommended procedure after saving
your own SET , is to open ThisSET.SET , load the following folders :
- SOUND
- PAD
and then assign it as Direct SET in order to and explore it.
If while loading SOUND/PAD you get the "not all of samples are loaded" incomplete message then get rid of it !!!
BTW : After Pa3X , Global file can not be loaded from older models , you will receive the "not pa file" message !
Hope this helps _________________ Music Conductor - Sound Engineer & Developer - Automotive SMPS/RF R&D - Electronics Engineer
