I can't remember...What's the policy for installing/reinstalling the program again? Also the group buy thing changes any thing? Are we all going to get individual licenses, so he will be treating us as individual customers or as one entity? _________________ Sam

I would suggest that the way it will work, is we get our, say 10, buyers. We (or designated contact person) then negotiate the deal. Each person then pays the money over to say Pete (or another trusted member) who then transfers the total sum to the developer.
Along with that transfer will be the email contact details for each buyer and the developer will then send a download link and licence to each.
I have been involved in group buys before at other forums and that is usually the way it works for small developers. Larger ones will set it up so that each buyer has a special link to access where they pay and then download.
I might, if it is ok with others, suggest to him that perhaps creating a link for each buyer is the better and mroe efficient way to go...but he has already stipulated he only wanted to deal (financially) with one source point...so not sure how the suggestion would go hahaha! _________________ Just because it happened to you, does not make it interesting. |

Yes I understand this part. My concern is for what happens after the purchase. Are we going to be limited in any shape or form afterwards? _________________ Sam

Certain members in this topic need to calm down.
This topic will be locked if further unpleasantness continues.
The topic is about PA Mananger.
I believe the "PA Manager member" is no longer active on these forums and so if you want to organise any "special" group deals then it might be best to contact "PA Manager" merchant directly and independently to find out how they would wish to handle it.
Thank you for your understanding.

There are forum rules prohibiting multiple membership - hope your "other" name(s) has been removed/de-activated.
Please check. _________________ PA4X-76, Karma, WaveDrum GE, Fantom 8 EX

hi,
i am new here on korg forums.
I am also interested in this software piece.
if we can arrange a group deal, the developer can maybe send a discount code to email addresses that are made known to him by a trusted person!! |

Not sure...but going by the above it would seem this discussion (thread) should now end.
I think I 'll just stump up the full price and be done with tbh haha! The whole thing has become too complicated.
So this is me, pax-eterna signing out. James has managed to resurrect my old sign in so I'll go back to that.

Yep sounds like a fine idea to me! As it would seem you have also deemed it inappropriate to continue this discussion here, it would also serve that angle as well.
So yeah, a good idea overall. _________________ Just because it happened to you, does not make it interesting. |

As this topic started about securing a more favourable deal on Korg PA Manager and notwithstanding that this thread became complicated I do not see why we cannot organise ourselves into a group as planned.

Hi Mintjamman,
I'm in definitely.
I think this would be a great idea so at least we can gauge the genuine interest in this software.
Unfortunately I have been away for the weekend, but I intend to speak both with PA Manager (the Company) and also to Korg directly at Milton Keynes. I will probably even speak to Keysounds Leicester (biggest sellers of the PA4X in the U.K.) as they have spoken to the P.A. Manager software developers in person on several occasions.
Chris
p.s. Hopefully Pax-eterna will reconsider 'going it alone' and add his name to Mintjamman's list. |
