Original Perc. Kit (Program User BB060 on a K2). A#6.
Here's the same sound used for a bit of cheesy Christmas fun on a M3...

That drum kit should be in another bank on the Kronos X... just search for it. Or search "Misc. Perc. Kit" b/c it's also in there. _________________ Korg Kronos-61, 01/Wfd, SONAR Pro |

Kronos has a 'search '. A small magnifying glass.
It works by mode. When in Program mode, try it. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

Just tap the category button (top middle screen) and select drums. You should be able to find Original Percussion Kit. (Use the search function, if stuck.)
If not, select any drum kit, press GLOBAL -- DRUM KIT. It's sample #920. You can change any sample to that one.

Definitely! As you said, it works in many other modes, such as searching EXs banks for samples and multisamples.
Unfortunately, this search won't see every sample from the top level. You have to go through each EXs. Do a search in multisamples (Program - OSC/PITCH page) or from Drum kit Global mode. Many EXs banks have both multisamples and drum samples. |

Maxibrady, I just ran across a sleigh bells sound. It's a high B in the Standard Kit -- B5.
For what it's worth, there does exist a Kronos Sound List pdf. If you'll look there in the GM Drum Kits, you'll see B5 is Sleigh Bell. Use your browser's Search function (CTRL F) and type in "sleigh." |
