You know the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". But there really isn't a right or wrong decision, you would do the same things you can do now with your Original Kronos, with the Platinum or Gold. If you like the wood sides and the different color thats up to you. |

I am just interested in what you think about the longer term value of the platinum and gold editions and if it is a good investment or not. _________________ www.silhouetteband.nl |

Some folks make large purchases based primarily on emotion.
Thats completely their call.
I don't see any info that either board has collector value. Its to early to think that. A different color , even shiny, is not enough, IMO.
Collectors will point to some other item as some proof by way of analogy. As a practical matter one could point to 1000's of keyboard instruments that have no collector value. From a gambling perspective, I don't find the colored editions as a good bet for that collector type investment. .
My thought is that its about preference with your money. _________________ Kronos 88. MODX8

been waiting since the 90s for keyboards to be black again! maybe that's why gold and silver aren't so popular... _________________ Korg Kronos-61, 01/Wfd, SONAR Pro |
