I was ready to start my gig last night after rushing to setup the sound, cables, mixer, etc. Pressed the 1st entry on the Setlist function and the 1st entry doesn't EXIST!!! 2nd Entry Error, not found!!! My heart sinks and my mind races what to do next. Pressed the media button, and the Hard Disk was missing and not registered as online!!!! Yikes!!!!

I powered off the Pa4x and then back on and mercifully, the hard disk was found and everything was working perfectly.

Lesson Learned: Have a USB backup handy at ALL times!!! Just in case!

Anyone else have this happen to them with the latest O/S?

Not happened to me but I notice that occasionally (and happened TODAY) that my HD says it's a USB and NOT HD but it still works OK - very odd!!

Very Happy

so I did just take a old usb memory 16GB and copy all of my SD card on to it ,, all folder one for midi and one for mp3, and text .
Then made two copy of my song book from the pa4x and name one , songbook usb.. then just load the songbook in and just in one click ,change all of the Resource from ,, unit [KORG SD] to unit [] ,,, then just save it and now if I brack down like Kbrkr did ,,i just have to load the songbook in to the pa4x and put the usb stick in and it work great.I have the usb songbook on the usb stick ..and now I can go to any pa4x with my usb stick and have all of my songs and songbook

This below might help someone

Look like this is how it is ..

In the songbook for computer...

unit [KHD_USER] = Hard Driver

unit [KORG SD] = Sd Card

unit [] = USB -F or USB -R

I had similar situation. But in my case HD stop working after some time fom the power the instrument on. I could identified it by the HD sound..
Actually lack of the HD's hype.
This happened only once in my history.
