Last year I connected my iPad (gen 4) to the Kronos to use some synth apps. Initially it works perfect. However, after a few minutes, the sound degrades to a horrible static. I eventually gave up.

Now, I have a new app and would like to try this again. No MIDI this time, just audio. However, the problem remains. Both the Kronos and the iPad (pro 9.7) have been updates since last year but this problem is still here.

Just playing audio into the Kronos at around 12:00 minutes, the audio starts popping, crackling and distorting. Also, just having it connected not playing anything, after 12:00 minutes, the sound is bad. Prior to the failure, it sounds great.

Is this a known bug? Has anyone found a way to make it work?

How are you connecting to the Kronos thru usb or midi cables?

I just read on the Kronos forum that USB Audio has been fixed by apple for their computer OS. Does this mean it's also fixed for IOS? I just tested my iPad/Kronos for about 30 minutes and it was perfect. It never worked that long before! Fingers crossed...
