I voted both, but I do use MIDI more.
I use the MIDI seq as a sketchbook for ideas.
I use the audio seq to load full songs I want to play along with. _________________ Korg Kronos 61

I voted both, but I only use the onboard Seq for playback. I create my sequences in Digital Performer on my iMac and then import them to Kronos. I'd rather work on the big screen. It's just so much easier to edit performances.
Back in the day, I produced all the instrumental tracks for an album on the onboard sequencer of an Ensoniq EPS. After I got my first Mac, I never went back to creating with onboard sequencers. _________________ Kronos 2 88, Kronos Classic 73, PX-5S, Kronos 2 61, Roli Seaboard Rise 49 |

Voted both, I use kronos sequencers more as a tool to put in/play around with ideas etc as opposed to doing the complete thing. _________________ DX7-MOD-7 Patches | Korg Related Content

Using both one of the reasons I got it I got used to since I had M1 audio recording is perfect for me too to be honest if I wanted to use DAW I would get Montage in that case better suited for PC. |

I use the midi seq alot...I have recorded about 160 song files that I play with. There seems to be a niche / demand for solo work, or with a vocalist, esp around the holidays, using the recorded midi songs.. they sound great with strings, horns, etc already recorded. Of course I leave a part out for me to play live. |

I used to use them both a lot but since I've changed up to using a computer and Cubase, not so much now.
Here is one of the first songs I ever did using the midi sequencer combined with the audio. I figured both together were pretty much a decent home recording studio.
