Hi there!

I just wonder what kind of controllers mainly used for RADIAS and which parameters are controlled by these controllers by others?

I just bought an EDIROL PCR-800 and I made a control map like this:

KORG RADIAS PARAMETER LIST
PARAMETER OUTPUT MESSAGE
R1 F1 TYPE CC 27(1B)
R2 F1 CUTOFF CC 74(4A)
R3 F1 RESO CC 71(47)

R5 F2 TYPE CC 29(1D)

R8 F2 EG INT CC 69(45)
R9 Main VOLUME CC 7(07)

C1 PORTAMENTO ON (momentary) CC 65(41)
C2 BANK A01-H16 CC 32(20)
C3 BANK I01-P16 CC 32(20)
H1 PAN
AFT - CHANNEL PRESSURE

The R1-9 pots are used to keep the RADIAS pots long life :) Especially the EG.INT pot what is frequently used live.

The S1-9 faders are for Timbre AMP levels and Timbre output balance I find very usefull becouse in this way don't need to select a timbre to adjust they (separate) volume and don't need to enter EDIT mode to adjust the output chanel. (I'm using a DSP2024 FX on Indiv.outs) It's work kind of a mixer for me...

Any suggestion or opinion? :)

I use Ableton Push and the Max for Live device called "8 MIDI CCs" ... but probably turning to Maschine soon as it does such things quite a bit better.

You can see (and change) the MIDI CCs for the Radias in the Radias Global edit menu.

The Behringer BCR2000 controller has the most knobs for the money, and can be used for other things, including the awesome Zaquencer ( custom firmware that turns the BCR2000 into an analogue-style 4-track MIDI sequencer).
