Hi I have a Triton Classic and I broke a G key, I've looked on ebay and cant seem to find one, so was wondering if anyone may have a dead Triton Classic who maybe selling bits for spare's.
I have read some keys from other manufactures keybeds are compatible or even the same. "correct me if i have been misled".
I would love to get this synth back up and running. |

To the best of my knowledge the TRITON CLASSIC 61 uses the YAMAHA FS 61 note keybed.
Keys for this family of workstations should be compatible.
KORG 01W . KORG TRINITY . KORG TRITON. KORG T3.

Thanks for your enlightening reply, I can now look into this with a better understanding and opportunity of getting a replacement key. |

Have You contacted Korg UK,I've purchased a few spare keys from them over the years, although I think they have now stopped holding spares for instruments over 10 years old I'd be very surprised if they couldn't help you source one, those keybeds have been used for decades since the days of the M1 so I would suspect they could still get hold of a spare Key for you.
If not then There are always listings for spare keys for most synths on Ebay.
I can't vouch for this seller(Never used them)and it seems this listing is for a set of keys,(maybe you can contact them if they would sell you an individual key)

cheers I've sent a message to him to see if he will sell a single key, i'll let you know how i get on.
And thanks to everyone else for their input.
I hope i get this sorted because I love this synth, I believe I could used a slave keyboard of same amount of keys via midi cables but i'm not sure how to do it. |

Yes, you could MIDI, but IMO fixing the key is the way to go. _________________ Kronos2-61..(2) Triton Classic, Nord Stage 2, Previously owned lots of other gear dating back to the 70’s. |
