I just recently got a microKORG, I have had success with using the microKORG SoundEditor and using the .set and the .prg files.
I purchased these:

I have tried MIDI-OX per initial suggestion and also Bome SendSX, neither seem to work.
MIDI-OX gives me the following error:
I have a high end computer so I know it cannot be my computer resources.
Do I need to first clear all my current patches? Is there a setting in MIDI-OX I should check? Any help would be appreciated! or if someone can convert these patches to .prg and .set that would be excellent as well |

Hi,
Try to play with the options: Menu Options/Configure buffers/Low Level output buffers/Num and Size.
My experience with my mKXL is that long SysEx dumps tends to contain errors using MidiOx. A possible workaround is to chop the SysEx file per patch. Typically it will contain 1 SysEx message per patch and send them then 1 by 1.
Good luck _________________ microKORGXL, Kaossilator Pro, monotribe, SQ-1, volca fm, Kross 88 BK
