|
|
I try to edit Drum and Percussion tracks through the Track Controls in Style Play mode but apparently it is not working with UDK.
For example; I try to increase the Kick's volume (DR track selected) but nothing changes, what ever the volume level from 0 to 127.
I noticed that It works only with FDK.
Any suggestion?
Thanks |

Probably the DK you use, is user made and has differently assigned sounds to the keybed so the volume you twick for the kick for example is maybe assinged to a cymbal or something else. _________________ Best Regards

I was guessing the same thing, however I select for example the Kick or Snare icon for editing.
So my understanding is that this feature (Track Controls) may not working with UDK.
Thanks |

When You Sampling Sample which are design for DK kits, is imported to assign them to 1 of 8 DrumSample Family.
1. Kick drums.
2. Snare drums.
3. Toms.
4. Hi-Hat cymbals.
5. Ride, Crash and other cymbals.
6. Low-pitched percussions.
7. High-pitched percussions.
8. Special effects.
In Korg Pa4x User Manual (ver. 2) on page #473 is showing how must be done.
If you really like your User DK, you can go to Sound edit, find which sample (ID & name), then go to Sampler, find this sample and try to edit.
Hope this explain your problem. _________________ Nemik

There is great complexity to creating a sound or drumkit. When you have the power/ability like the Pa4x gives you, you have to learn all that it took for Korg to do the same. _________________ Pa4x, Oasys 76, K2000, PC3K7, Montage 8, Pa5x |

This is exactly what I've done so far (editing DR/Percu sound in Sound mode).
I was looking for a fast/not deep editing way for Style Tracks in Style Play mode .
Thanks for your comment and that helped and assured me what I was doing so far. |
