|

So, i am trying to record my Volcas with my BR 80.
As long as i use the line in (3.5mm) everything works fine.
But to use the COSM effects of the BR, i need to enter through the guitar/mic in.
When i try that i am getting a lot of, well noise, electic noise, some sort of distortion. From my very limited understanding about any of this, it seems that the signal of the Volca (key so far) is too strong or hot, or something like that.
I tried lowering the sensitivity and volume and it does make things better, but the background noises are still there.
Any idea on how to connect a Volca to the BR 80 via the guitar/mic in, would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks & cheers

AFAIK one cannot use line output devices (like the Volca) on Mic/Guitar inputs. End of story. The BR-80 is meant for guitars, that's why I bought a Tascam DP-004 mobile mini four track recorder. That one does not have any effects on board unfortunately so I have to use effect stomp boxes w/ it. |
