Hi,

I want to create a dropping sound by just pressing one key.
Is there a way you can create a pitch envelope or something like that?

Yes, by creating a pitch envelope.

Depends a bit on which engine you mean. The engines that model existing instruments (SGX2, EP-1, PolySix, CX3) do not have a pitch envelope because the original instrument doesn't have one either. MS20 is a special case because you will have to use the patch panel. Other than that, what you're looking for is called exactly that - pitch envelope.

oh ok haha! I'm searching for it but can't find it. Not even in the manual. Is there maybe a different wording used for it? E.g. in the AL-1 engine?

Look for Pitch EG. Sorry I'm not at my Kronos and always get my page names mixed up.

Oh actually you can set up the modulation in OSC/Pitch, Pitch EG/Mod tab. You can freely select an Envelope Generator there and edit the actual envelope in the EG tab.

You could use the pitchbender.. there was a tutorial that Sharp did on programming
smooth pitch rise & drops for the Triton - the procedure he described also applies to
the Kronos.

OK, maybe you folks can help me. I'm a guitar player, so I'm not all that familiar with keyboard editing. I found a sound in SPX that sounds like a bottle rocket. I want to alter it to sound like a dropping bomb so I can use it in "You Dropped The Bomb On Me." This sounds is close, except for two things.....it's not long enough and I'd like to lose the little "pop" of the bottle rocket at the end. I found "Pitch EG" and on another thread I was told that is what I want to edit the sound....trouble is: I don't know what to do with it. I've diddled around quite a bit and nothing seems to change. Any help here? Thanks!
