I want this! But I'm struggling to get it on my Kronos. I downloaded from the website no problem. It's now on a USB flash drive. The directory for that drive on Kronos shows two files. "Steinway Vintage D.rar" 457mb. The other is much smaller _Steinway Vintage D.rar 4.0kb... Kronos (me) doesn't know what to do with this to turn it into a pcg file. Any help please? Thanks you guys, can't wait to try this!

Hi, first you need to unrar the 460mb file in your computer, then unrar the other 3 files (steinway D 01, 02 and 03) after that delete the .rar files (the are no longer needed) copy the 3 folders and all the ksc files in your pen drive and then copy into your SSD. Load the 3 userbanks files

You have to unrar the rar files ,and after the new folders apeear, make sure they dont contain a double folder inside them,it;s something winrar does when compressing, jut pull out the last folder ,it will just overwrite the first folder, then you can load it ,but i would like to ask something, cause i dont use Kronos,i just want to load it on pa4x.
why is it 4.5Gb if it only loads 110Mb? can someone upload the uncompressed piano sound of 110mb? thanx

Kronos' sample streaming from the SSD allows relatively little RAM to be used.

Pa4X uses only Ram for custom PCM samples and the max acceptable size is 400 Mb of overall samples and you can't
import even one velocity layer of 13 (I think) , since you can't compress large samples (over 15 seconds duration)
even import and save native pianos samples of 35-45 seconds duration in Pa4X !
The solution is to choose 2 velocity layers , shorten them at 10-14 sec duration , precisely loop them in their
modulation portion using PC/Mac samplers , sample utilities and sound editors , import them in Pa4X in KMP format ,
and create OSC & layer EG & filter EG (12 stereo OSC) from scratch !
This will cost you 3 times the cost of a ready to use commercial piano like the "top rated"
http://wavesart.eu/Pa3XSoundLibraries/Pa4X%20Yamaha%20C7.html
Or you can use the freeware decent piano of John that might be better that this 5GB piano

If i had time i could make it smaller, yet fully functional, but i am not sure it worths the try ,i mean i would better spent my time on resampling Ivory's Italian grand.
But since i have tried many piano samples the last 20 years, what i found out is ,that only a Virtual modeling piano sound really works fine on stage.
Therefore, i stopped searching for piano sounds a long time ago,at least until korg decides to give a disk streaming function for Pa4x.

Anthony i like your piano,i promise when i come to Athens again i will visit you to try it in realtime, cause that is what nobody can understand by just watching demos, the feel of the sound when you play it,am i right?Though i am sure your sounds have that already, but i would love to try them.

The other sound you suggested is no my taste's!!!!
I think my FantomX' superior or superb piano, even the old XP80's piano have a better respond, feel and sound than this.
