Happy New Year to all Very Happy
I purchased a Krome 73 about two weeks ago and up to now it has always worked properly... But recently I've noticed that two or three keys in the lowest part of the keyboard give a clicking noise when pressed hard, though the velocity and the aftertouch seem to work well as always. Is it something I have to concern about or is it a problem that does not affect the performance? Thanks and sorry my English if it's not perfect Mr. Green Mr. Green

Can the noise be heard when listening at normal levels to the Krome's audio whilst playing? In a normal live performance situation, such key sounds are not likely to be audible.

The Krome does not have aftertouch.

The noise is not audible when the Krome is playing... I was a little concerned since some Krome owners told me they had found issues with the keys. So I thought it was a common problem of those keyboards. Ther Krome doesn't have aftertouch? Eh? But why is there an option named "aftertouch" among the AMSs?

Whilst the Krome keyboard doesn't itself have any aftertouch hardware, the Krome's sound engine recognises aftertouch CC#s. So, if the Krome is played using an aftertouch-capable MIDI keyboard or other MIDI source that supplies aftertouch then, provided the Program or Combi is set to recognise aftertouch, it will respond.

Ahh, now I see. Thanks for the explanation... As you can see, I'm just a newbie. Laughing
