Hello all,

I'm new to this forum. In going through my Kronos, I accidentally deleted PRELOAD_EXs2.KSC. How can I get it back? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Ok, chances are that you'll be able to get the EXs back. They are likely still on your HD. I did something similar a while back. You can check out this link for info. The post from Dan at Korg was very helpful.

Did you actually delete the file from the HDD or just remove it from Auto Load?
I assume you still have PRELOAD.KSC. I don't recall PRELOAD_EXx2.KSC as a file provided on the Kronos factory CD-ROM, or even included as part of an OS update download. However, the name suggests that it simply contains the EXs2 library. If this is the case, it would make sense that PRELOAD_EXx2.KSC was possibly created by a user (you or previous owner) because EXs2 is NOT included in PRELOAD.KSC. Instead, EXs2 is in the Korg Extras folder. If you can locate it, then you can re-create the .KSC.
