I created a style on the Cubase and I can't hear the Fx (Effects) from my Pa4X on the Cubase,
How can I make the Fx sync together between Cubase and Pa4X

For Example: My intro 1 has guitar lead effect and I want to hear that effect on Cubase as well.

Thanks

in global mode you can find the midi connection table.

default all midi channels (1-16) are routed to midi player 1 channel 1 till 16.
Now when you select a style, then you want to use the Upper 1 till 4 and the Accompaniment sounds. In that case change your midi connection table in global mode to the channels you are using.

For instance midi channel 2 to upper 1
midi channel 3 for upper 2
if you have local control set to off then you can use midi channel 1 too in that table, if you have set it to on (the default) then you would get midi loop problems if you sent your midi data to midi channel 1. So that's why you better use midi channel 2 for upper 1
etc

then if you sent the midi parts from cubase to your style then you are using the sounds of your style (including the effect settings)

So there is a difference between using the pa4x as a midi file player connected to cubase (the default setting of the pa4x) or using cubase as a style editor in style mode. But in that case you have to modifiy the global midi settings and it's really important to use the correct midi channels for the upper and lower sounds, if you want to import that midi file to create your custom style.

Now when you create your own style then it's really important to use the the following structure:

Midi channel: Type of sound
09: Bass
10: Drums
11: Percussion
12: Accompaniment sound 1
13: Accompaniment sound 2
14: Accompaniment sound 3
15: Accompaniment sound 4
16: Accompaniment sound 5

Save the work you have done in your daw as a standard 0 format midi file and use that midi file in the the creator bot or if you assigned the corresponding variation labels to the sections you can use it directly as a midi file import for the style.

yes, if you want to sync it to the cubase tempo then it has to be set to external, don't forget to sent de cubase midi clock to the PA4X sound midi channel in the cubase sync menu.
