Looking for a bit of help on two songs by The Tubes.

First, for “she’s a beauty”: looking for the “swoosh pah” sound in the chorus. If you know the song at all, you know what I’m after.

For “talk to you later”, looking for the arp. that plays at the start of the chorus. It’s like a fast shimmering run up in the chorus. This one I think I might be able to build as an arp. on my Motif, but thought I’d ask anyway.

Thanks all!

For the swoosh pah just use the AL-1 engine with a noise source and play with the filter and amp EG's. I did it that way on my old (pre-kronos) rig -should be pretty easy to do in AL-1. Filter will be bandpass and you'll make 2 different sounds, one for the swoosh, one for the pah. Obviously on the swoosh you'll have a bit of filter sweep up and a softer attack. On the other one, filter is mostly fix (maybe a little descending), fast attack, adjust release to taste.
