Hello,
We all know that Korg sound banks can be validated only on a single Kronos unit.
So, if you want to have the same sound banks on a second Kronos, you'll have to buy them again.
Here's a solution :
They could base identification on the fingerprints owner rather than on the Kronos ID.
A fingerprint reader costs 30 $ on Amazon !!
Thanks to a little software on computer, we could associate one fingerprint to one or mode Kronos ID. It will give a new code to be entered in the Kronos.
I don't think it's a so big deal for these enginners.

This could be done as you suggest. The technology is there. But i think KORG could do it much simpler if they wanted to. There are a myriad of ways to do it as others software manufacturers do. |
