Hello everyone!
Years ago in my youthfulness, I played in bands during the late 70's and early 80's and during the that time I purchased a Korg Poly 6. It was a great piece of a keyboard. However, afterwards I became married with children and stowed away my Poly 6 only to become reacquainted with it after 30 years. I tried to play it recently and unable to make it work. (No sound) My question! Do you think it can be repaired after this length of time or should I consider the memories and fun I had with it as priceless and discard it? Any advice will help. Thanks! Vern

Welcome to the forum.

The chances of repairing the Polysix will be influenced by the storage conditions over the years and whether the battery has been replaced.

The following may be of interest:

The Korg Legacy Collection contains a Polysix software emulation, and also contains Legacy Cell which allows two Polysixes or Polysix and MS-20 to be played simultaneously. The user interface looks much like the Korg Kontrol 49 MIDI keyboard/controller front panel, and the controls map automatically. It's a lot of fun.
