Does not sound good. I would try turning it on one more time and see if it does it again. Sounds like a return for a proper working one is in your future. _________________ http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=807494

Hi playing for some hour and half no problems, sudden loud noise with
no response on Exit, Style change,Volume, etc, Pulled the plug out.
Plugged in started up again, normal for the next half hour.
No further trouble and nothing found.Only 14 days in not good.

Hi duby My 1000 has the OS 1.01 dated 4th Sept 2017. Played again
today,no problems.Went into all areas,demos,songbook,set list,styles.
different volumes and balances nothing out of the norm happened.
Hope only a one off. Never had any trouble with the Pa4x,.
I wonder if this was a Korg problem, a lot of people waiting with
orders placed in Sept when the model was first announced. The delay in supply was certainly not like Korg.

Can I suggest that should you have a repeat that you video the unit and then send the video to Korg. _________________ Biggles
