How do you get multiple USB devices (i.e., multiple synths) into your Mac for audio + MIDI integration into your DAW (Apple Logic Pro X)? I read that one device specifically does not work with USB hubs. Are most other synths able to connect to your Mac via USB hub?

Most usb keyboards will connect to a mac via a hub.

I have a Kronos plus a PA900 that work in this way.
The Kronos has both midi and audio, but the PA900 only has midi.
They are connected to a hub.

For older synths that only have the 5 pin midi arrangment,a suitable midi/usb interface will be required.

Although I'm using cubase elements.....I'm sure things should work with Logic Pro,with appropriate settings etc.

By aware that there have been audio problems with different mac osx versions in the past, the midi has been fine, though.
Many resorted to using midi/audio interfaces to comabat this, but I've been lucky with finding a workaround with most osx.

Lately,High Sierra seems to have improved most of the audio problems and can work without too much tweaking etc.

Which device are you referring to as not working with hubs ?

Hope this helps.

Best Wishes.
