Likely just a coincidence. It's very easy to replace the CR2032. |

So I've decided to open the Kronos do some cleaning and check if the board or the button wasn't positioned well. Ok after I did all of that when I turned on I get a message on the screen saying:
The clock battery voltage is low.
Please replace the battery, and set the date and time in Disk mode.
I find that kind of amusing because I never got that message before.
Is this a case of coincidence that the battery would go low exactly when I've decided to open the kronos or perhaps I could have not plugged something properly back before closing it?
Thanks. |
As far as your malfunctioning Combi button goes- there may be hairline cracks in the solder joints. Pressing hard will only make matters worse. Use a magnifying to inspect the solder joints and if in doubt- carefully reflow the solder. I had this happen on my Triton and this was the fix. _________________ "To me the synthesizer was always a source of new sounds that musicians could use to expand the range of possibilities for making music."

Does it show the correct date and time anyway ?
Perhaps a global save may be needed following the setting.
Otherwise, perhaps something may have been disturbed during the cleaning task or the battery fitting. |
