I agree with Woombang and Benny Ray. A 64bit system that supports more ram & improved loading times would be nice. On my wish list of hardware features are a long ribbon controller under the display (like the kurzweil k2500/k2600) and having both pitch/mod wheels AND joystick (like on the Roland A-90). That would be killer!!
But I wouldn't hold my breath on any major updates because the Kronos has caught on and its user base is growing. And currently, IMO, the Kronos has no workstation peers. Software plugins are the only competition to the Kronos. I have the original Kronos 88 & 61 and still only have scratched the surface of this monster. So my wishing for 'more' is just that; a wish. The polished and finished look of the Kronos 2 88 is my next board upgrade. |
