This is a somewhat different approach, more common with book authors.

This is a creative effort to have a musical story ( Ms Melancholy)
followed up by a sequel ( Return of Ms Melancholy)

They can be played in either order Smile

Ms Melancholy
https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/ms-melancholy

-Ms M is trance-like, dark, somber, serious. An approaching storm, if you will.

The Return of Ms Melancholy
https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/return-of-ms-melancholy

- The Return of Ms M is more middle of the road. A song about how
certain people affect our lives. About our inner selves, how we process the world around us and cope. And to gain inner strength by enjoying all that surrounds us.

All created and recorded using the Korg Kronos. As you would expect Smile

Thank you for listening again ! I think the song is close to trance. I am not actually thinking a particular style when I compose. It's getting more 'listens'
vs my other light jazz or middle of the road songs.

Very cool. May i ask what patch did you use in Garageband? I'm guessing it's an Alchemy synth preset ?

Thank you, Lester ! Its all Kronos. Used 1 of the Kronos mellotrons as the main voice. I think the K's mellotrons are very good.

Lester amazing job! Love the dissonant chords at the end just prior to the sun coming up representing a “new day.” Really nice. It also lowered my bloo pressure about 20 points too 😂.

But seriously great production. Thanks for sharing.

https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/our-back-yard

An easy listening funky light jazz instrumental titled Our Back Yard. Reminiscent of the 70/80’s song material.

Not a flashy keyboard song Smile Just placing the notes in the right places.

My original song is about the variety of happiness experienced in Our Back Yard.

It is a creative joy to cultivate the renewal and beautiful growth
in our yard every year.

It would be fun to hear from keyboard musicians who enjoy puttering around
the yard.

Greg

https://soundcloud.com/user-898236994/32nd-floor-pianoswav

The piano and other instruments are from the Korg Kronos keyboard.

Imagine you are overlooking San Francisco Bay , 32 floors high. The room is wall to wall pianos.

The pianos and this room are not ordinary.

You sit down , play the notes on piano of a song you are working
on.

All the pianos play in unison. The room is shimmering and reverberating
as if you are playing 100’s of pianos.

As you perform the song, you lose yourself in the music and the view of the Bay , 100’s of sail boats skimming the white caps. The fog is a whisper as it moves thru the Golden Gate Bridge.

Your mind and fingers work on this song...day becomes night..
