My friend and I bought our keyboards in October and have been delighted with them but this morning his pa4x cut out with no warning, and does not come back on. He has been on to the supplier but needs to phone them again tomorrow.
They are suggesting it might need to go back to Korg for repair.
As a working musician that is just about my biggest nightmare.
Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone have any ideas

thanks
Bobby

I'm sorry to hear that
You may try using another power cable like pc power cable or try to connect your keyboard on another adapter

thanks for your reply. Yes, he has ruled out all of the obvious possibilities. He has a lot of expensive computer equipment so the supply is also surge protected.

Hello,

I had a similar problem years ago with PA2X Pro. Due to overvoltages, the trafo has been burnt. If this is an injury, it is best to go to an old master who will know the trafo's repair. This is just one option. But there may be something else. This was due to the fact that there was a shortage of electric current and then an electric current was returned in less than one second. This boosts the voltage for a moment. The result is damage to the trafo.
