What update is possible with existing hardware on Kronos if any maybe that is the reason why we don't have update I.e no more space for tweaks?

the boss does not think like I do. Thats for sure.

IOW, it appears Kronos, a 7 yr old W/s , is not a big priority.

New products are the focus. Thats not surprising. I contend a company could do 'both '. especially since the old Kronos and new products are fairly dissimilar.

I think a free features update would solidify K2 sales. And possibly motivate more sales. I suppose thats debatable.

Since the features updates have been free, the free expectation might also be a cost disincentive for a Korg boss. Thus we see nothing... for 13 months and counting.

even so, I enjoy my Kronos immensely. I also think, we should have high standards and get demanding, as best we can.

Thats a tough one. I am not into arrangers but admire their strengths.

You almost have to make a list of pros/cons on each instrument.

The sample streaming on the K is terrific.

Maybe you should cross platform over to your PC or mac for a year , play with VI's and see what shakes out 1 year from now.

Doing nothing is also an option.
